EBU Heavyweight Champion (2010)
World Boxing Foundation Heavyweight Champion (2004)
26th May 2012 - Fourth round TKO win over Ali Adams
Once an Olympic hero for Team GB after a glittering amateur career led to a gold medal win in Sydney (2000), Audley Harrison now has a 28 - 5 professional career.
The London-born, California-based southpaw turned pro in 2001 off the back of his Olympic success down under. He won his first 19 bouts, meeting the high expectation that he could one day challenge for World Heavyweight honours.
Back to back losses in 2005-2006 halted these ambitions, however, while in 2007 Harrison also lost a challenge for the EBU-EU and BBBofC English belts in 2007 against Michael Sprott.
Harrison's most recent defeat came in his most high profile fight. He suffered a third round TKO to David Haye with the WBA World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
On October 13th, live on BoxNation, Audley Harrison fights David Price with Price's British and Commonwealth titles on the line.
