James DeGale is backing close pal Bradley Skeete to make an impact in professional boxing. The Olympic 2008 gold medallist has regularly sparred with Skeete, and believes the youngster is the real deal.

Like DeGale, Skeete was an England international as an amateur.
And in 2009 he made it to the final of the ABAs, losing to talented Ronnie Heffron at light-welterweight.

Skeete was based at Earlsfield ABA as an amateur.
