Julio Cesar Chavez Junior - known as JC Jr. - is an unbeaten Mexican middleweight previously rated in several different weight categories.
Chavez Junior faced the celebrity limelight from a very early age thanks to his father's status as a legendary World champion fighter.
JC Jr. has enjoyed his own highly successful fight career, which started when he turned professional at just the age of 17 in 2003.
The teenager won his professional bow at super featherweight, defeating fellow Mexican Jonathan Hernandez after a four-round unanimous points decision.
Chavez followed this success with 10 consecutive wins before he secured his first professional title - the WBC Youth World Light Middleweight Championship - in August 2004.
The Mexican extended his impressive collection of victories to 23 - 0 before he drew with Carlos Molina in December 2005.
To date, this is the only blemish on Chavez Junior's record, and the young Mexican later went on to win the WBC Continental Americas Middleweight belt in 2008.
He then added the WBC Latino Light Middleweight title in 2009 and the WBC Silver Middleweight title in 2010.
In June 2011, Chavez Junior won the WBC World Middleweight Championship, which he holds to this day.
The Mexican successfully defended his World title and unbeaten
record on Saturday 4th February against Marco Antonio Rubio LIVE on

His next bout is a WBC World title defence against Ireland's Andy
Lee LIVE on BoxNation on June 16th.
