Marco Antonio Rubio is a Mexican-born middleweight with a 53 - 5 - 1 record.
Known as El Veneno (The Poison), Rubio has won a string of Mexican, Continental and World titles since turning professional in 2000.
The Durango-born fighter's biggest achievements to date include a WBC International light middleweight championship win in 2003 and a WBO Intercontinental light middleweight success in 2004.
In February 2009, Rubio challenged Kelly Pavlik for the WBO and WBC middleweight belts, but was forced to retire by his corner at the start of the tenth round.
The Mexican's current 10 - 0 streak has earned him a shot at Julio Cesar Chavez Junior's WBC middleweight championship which will be shown LIVE on BoxNationTV on Saturday 4th February.
