Commonwealth Light Middleweight Champion (2009)
28th April 2012 - loss vs Sam Webb
25th November 2011 - victory vs Kris Carslaw
Matthew "El Torito" Hall - also known as "The Bull" - is a Manchester-born light middleweight with a 24 - 4 record.
The Mancunian turned professional in 2002 with back-to-back wins over Pedro Thompson. Hall reached 16 - 0 in almost five years before his first loss to Martin Concepcion in 2007. The fight was stopped after just two minutes of the first round as Concepcion ran riot over his fellow Briton.
Hall recovered from that setback to record five straight wins and re-establish himself in the light middleweight world.
El Torito then beat Bradley Pryce in 2009, knocking him down three times and winning the Commonwealth Light Middleweight Championship.
Hall's following fight - both a defence of his Commonwealth belt and a challenge for the vacant British Championship - ended with another defeat, this time at the hands of Anthony Small.
The Manchester fighter returned almost a year later to beat Tony Randell in 2010 but then lost an EBU Light Middleweight challenge in his next bout to achieve a record of 23 - 3.
Hall announced his retirement immediately after this fight, but came back in October 2011. He suffered more disappointment with a fourth career defeat, taking his record to 23 - 4.
The Mancunian did win his most recent fight; a British Light Middleweight Championship eliminator against Kris Carslaw in November 2011.
