Orlando "Siri" Salido is a 31-year-old Mexican featherweight and the current WBO World Featherweight Champion.

Salido, originally from Sonora, Mexico, shocked the featherweight boxing world when he beat Juan Manuel Lopez in April 2011 to win the WBO World crown.

Entering the fight with a 34 - 11 - 2 record, Salido sensationally ended the fight in the eighth round when he unleashed a wave of powerful right hands to defeat the previously unbeaten Lopez in front of his Puerto Rican home crowd.

And the two men did battle once again for a 10th March 2012 rematch, this time with Salido defending the WBO World crown. In a pulsating, high-octane encounter, Salido once again defended his WBO belt, recovering from a knockdown and securing a stunning 10th round TKO.
