Paul "Real Gone Kid" Smith is a Liverpool-born fighter and former British Super Middleweight Champion.
Before turning pro in 2003, Smith won the Amateur National Championships and a silver medal at the 2002 Commonwealth games.
The Merseysider then signed with Frank Warren Promotions and won 23 straight fights, including the British Central Area and English Middleweight Championships.
Smith's first career defeat came in his first attempted defence of his English Middleweight belt as suffered a shock defeat to Steven Bendall in June 2008.
The Real Gone Kid then stepped up to super middleweight and recorded six straight victories between 2008 and 2010, picking up the British Championship and defending it twice along the way.
Smith then suffered a second career reverse as he lost his British title to James DeGale in 2010.
The Liverpool fighter then won with a pair of eighth round knockouts, extending his record to 31 - 2, before failing to beat George Groves for British and Commonwealth Super Middleweight Championships.
