Tony "The Warrior" Dodson started his professional career in July 1999, when he beat Michael McDermott in Carlisle. His first two years were very successful, recording 12 wins out of 12 fights.
A former holder of both the English and British super middleweight titles, he also challenged for the Commonwealth title in 2006. More recently - in January 2011 - Dodson decided to move up to light heavyweight to fight in the Prizefighter series. Despite making it through the semi finals, the doctor ruled him out of the final due to injuries sustained above both his eyes.
