WBA Fedecentro Super Bantamweight Title (2009)
WBO Latino Super Bantamweight Title (2008, 2009)
29th October 2011 - Victory vs Roberto Carlos Leyva
Wilfredo Vazquez Junior, also known as "Papito" (Little Daddy) is a former WBO super bantamweight champion and son of Puerto Rican World champion fighter Wilfredo Vazquez.
Vazquez Junior embarked on his professional career in 2006 and has since gone on to achieve a 21 - 1 - 1 record.
The Puerto Rican - who has contested all of his career fights at super bantamweight - first won a regional title in 2008, as he overcome Adolfo Landeros to win the WBO Latino super bantamweight belt. Vazquez Junior added the WBA Fedecentro title at the same weight to his collection in March 2009.
Vazquez Junior's first world title came in February 2010 as he knocked out Marvin Sonsosa in the fourth to win the WBO super bantamweight championship.
He relinquished this belt in May 2011 to Jorge Arce, however, succumbing to a 12th round stoppage. Vazquez Junior returned with an October win over Roberto Carlos Leyva before lining up a challenge for the vacant WBO super bantamweight belt against Nonito Donaire.
The fight, which takes place on February 4th, will be shown LIVE on BoxNationTV from the Alamodome in Texas, United States.
