Czech fighter Lukas Konecny delights Vodova Arena crowd to take confident seventh round knockout.
The experienced campaigner went about his business well, controlling the fight from first bell to last, though French challenger Salim Larbi put in a sustained effort in the third round. This left Konecny marked up, with cuts to the bridge of his nose and above his left eye.
Nevertheless, Konecny continued his good work, and it seemed only a matter of time before a seventh round knockout.
47 - 3 Lukas Konecny, 33, enters the ring with 24-year-old rising star Salim Larbi for the WBO World Interim Light Middleweight Championship.
Larbi, from the Rhone region of West France, will bring a 17 - 1 - 1 record into the ring. His only career defeat came in 2009, when he suffered a second-round TKO defeat against Angelo Viol.
Konecny, a Czech Republic fighter with an impressive 47 wins from 50 bouts, is a former EBU (European) and WBO Intercontinental Light Middleweight Champion, and brings over 10 years' experience into the ring.
