Canelo Alvarez dominated eight of the first nine rounds, proving that he's still a force in boxing and not to be underestimated. As he bossed Angulo around the ring the fight looked like it could only go in one direction, and 47 seconds into the tenth, the referee stopped the fight following a stinging left uppercut.
The stoppage will surprise many, who will argue that Perro Angulo wasn't in any immediate danger, even if he did look defeated. There isn't any question of the direction the fight was heading however, it being only a matter of time for the firey Canelo, who successfully has his career back on track after a first career loss to Mayweather in September 2013.
Saul "Canelo" Alvarez looks to bounce back from his defeat to Floyd Mayweather as he faces off with fellow Mexican hardman Alfredo Angulo.
Alvarez and Angulo have 48 knockouts between them, so this one promises to be an absolute belter as the flame-haired youngster looks to show the world what he's got after his September UD loss to pound-for-pound king Mayweather.
