Glynn Evans

Ex amateur boxer Glynn Evans represented London select squads before belatedly discovering the pen was mightier than his fists.

Over the past 23 years his work has featured extensively in Boxing Monthly (under the pen name Mick Gill) and Boxing News. Presently he provides much of the copy for Frank Warren's website.

Away from the fight game, the Cardiff based but fiercely proud Englishman, a father of two, moonlights as a primary school teacher and is a long suffering but steadfastly loyal Aston Villa supporter.
