Dereck 'Del Boy' Chisora

Dereck Chisora is one of world boxing's best known heavyweight fighters.

The fearless Finchley fighter has faced some of the division's biggest names LIVE on BoxNation, including two of world boxing's biggest fights in 2012.

Klitschko and Chisora

A year to remember

That year, Chisora (right) first travelled to Germany to face the might of Vitali Klitschko in a fight that became infamous after a post-fight brawl between Chisora and fellow Londoner David Haye.

That paved the way for one of the biggest British heavyweight clashes in the sport's history as Del Boy Chisora and Haye sold out the 40,000 capacity Upton Park in July 2012 for a stunning night of boxing on BoxNation.

Although the enigmatic and popular Chisora (right) was on the losing end that night, he bounced back with wins over Hector Alfredo Avila and previously unbeaten American Malik Scott in 2013 to once again stake a claim for a shot at a Klitschko and their world titles.

Chisora wins the European title

Chisora corrected the injustice he suffered against Robert Helenius in 2011 as he finally won the European Heavyweight title by defeating Edmund Gerber LIVE on BoxNation in September 2013.

Chisora followed his eye-catching win over Gerber with a fourth consecutive knockout against the Czech Republic's Ondrej Pala, adding the WBA International title to his growing collection.

The Londoner extended his run of wins to five during his first fight of 2014 as he outboxed Kevin Johnson to take a wide unanimous decision.

Bad Blood - Chisora v Fury rematch

In 2011, a young Tyson Fury took Chisora's zero as well as his British and Commonwealth titles at Wembley Arena. In 2014 the rematch was confirmed, a headline fight to the Bad Blood show at the London Excel.

The vacant British, European and WBO International Heavyweight titles were on the line in a bout which doubled as a WBO World Heavyweight title eliminator.

The fight ended with a round ten retirement by Chisora's corner. He struggled to get close to Tyson Fury who used his jab and switched to southpaw during the fight to keep Chisora at range.

On the comeback trail

On July 24 2015, Chisora bounced back with a thumping first round KO win over 13-3 Beqa Lobjanidze to re-build his confidence and push him closer to bigger fights later in the year.

The Finchley heavyweight improved his winning streak to two when he comprehensively outboxed Marcelo Nascimento in September 2015 to take a wide points decision.
