The WBO World Super Middleweight Title

WBO World Super-Middleweight Champion Gilberto Ramirez meets mandatory challenger Jesse Hart on September 22nd at the Convention Center in Tucson, in what promises to be an exciting match up.

Ramirez (35-0, 24 KOs) lifted his World Title in April 2016, putting on a masterful performance against veteran Arthur Abraham, hurting the Armenian several times and winning all 12 rounds on the scorecards.

He’s proven he can box as well as brawl, and now the WBO kingpin will be looking to emphatically beat challenger Jesse Hart and cement his status as one the top Super-Middles.

American Hart will provide a tough challenger to the Mexican, bringing in a record of 22-0 with 18 knockouts. The Philadelphia fighter last fought in April when he brutally stopped Alan Campa with a series of damaging uppercuts.

Someone’s ‘0’ must go!

The WBO World Featherweight Title

Oscar Valdez at 22-0 (19 KOs) is one of the hottest prospects in boxing. Last time out he defended his WBO Featherweight belt, outpointing tough Colombian Miguel Marriaga on a unanimous decision.

Now the big-punching Mexican is set for an equally tough fight in also-undefeated Genesis Servania, who promoter Bob Arum describes as a “terrific fighter, the kind of guy who will bring the fight to Oscar.”

The Filipino made a name for himself beating former World Champion Alexander Munoz in 2014, knocking him out in the final round. This fight has the recipe to be an excellent full throttle bout.
