The IBF European Super-Lightweight Title

Darragh Foley (15-2-1, 8 KOs) and Akeem Ennis Brown (11-0, 1 KO) meet for the vacant IBF European Super-Lightweight strap at York Hall, Bethnal Green on Friday 14th December for our latest MTK installment.

In another high-quality fight on the same bill Londoner Larry Ekundayo (14-1, 3 KOs) makes the first defence of his IBF European Welterweight crown against Louis Greene (9-0, 5 KOs).

Those fights look certain to guarantee non-stop action at the spiritual home of British boxing.

Irishman Foley, who trains in Australia, has a chance to showcase his talent at the iconic London venue.

Foley, who is ranked sixth in the world by the WBA, made his UK debut in Glasgow in September only for an early cut to opponent Chris Jenkins to force a technical draw.

Ennis Brown, 23, turned professional in July 2015 and has been making steady progress even if he usually goes the distance.

His best wins came in July 2017 when he outpointed Glenn Foot in an English Title fight and last time out in May, when he won a technical decision over Chris Jenkins.

Nigerian Ekundayo, 36, will also be making his maiden defence having won the vacant title at York Hall in July beating Edinburgh’s John Thain on points.

It was a result he needed and deserved. His only defeat came on points against Gary Corcoran in July 2017 - a result many thought was harsh on him.

He is a real talent but getting the right fights has been tough. However, with MTK Global behind him that World Title chance could finally land, but underdog Greene has other ideas.

Kent’s Greene, 26, won the Southern-Area Welterweight belt in September 2017 by outpointing Freddy Kiwott and in his first defence in March he stopped Joe Hayes inside two rounds.
