Unbeaten Featherweight contender Brandon Figueroa will now headline Sunday’s live BoxNation card when he faces Oscar Escandon over 10 rounds in Ontario, California.

Figueroa (16-0) the brother of former Lightweight World Champion Omar Figueroa Jr, continues to climb the ladder in the 126lb division with a step-up match against former World Title challenger Escandon.

The Texan, 21, won all four of his fights last year and he has two knockout victories in 2018, beating Giovanni Delgado in March and Luis Roy Suarez Cruz.

The 34-year-old Escandon (25-4) who fought in the 2004 Olympics for Colombia, is a looking to get back on track following his defeat against WBC Featherweight Champion Gary Russell Jr in 2017.

British Heavyweight hope Joe Joyce (5-0) has his first fight under trainer Abel Sanchez when he faces Iago Kiladze (26-3)

The exciting night of fights will also see rising unbeaten prospects enter the ring as 2016 Nigerian Olympian Efe Ajagba (6-0) steps in for a six-round Heavyweight bout, sensational Super-Welterweight prospect Joey Spencer (4-0) competes in a four-round match and Featherweight prospect Stephen Fulton (13-0) looks to remain unbeaten in an eight-round match.

The original headline fight between Victor Ortiz and John Molina Jr has been scrapped.

Unbeaten Londoner Joyce is being fast-tracked to the top, and aims to go 6-0 with a win over Iago Kiladze, who has won 26 of his 29 fights.
