Khan, 31-3 (19 KO) started out his career as a 135lb lightweight, before stepping up to super-lightweight in 2009 when he won the WBO World title from Andriy Kotelnik. The former Olympian moved up to welterweight in 2013 where wins against Julio Diaz, Luis Collazo, Devon Alexander and Chris Algieri have lined up his big money showdown with Canelo.
Earlier this week, Khan shared a snap on his social media accounts that shows he’s already putting in the hard graft to prepare for one of the toughest fights of his career against 46-1-1 Canelo. The WBC World Middleweight title will be on the line at Las Vegas’ brand new T-Mobile Arena, giving Khan the opportunity to join the elite club of British two-weight world champions.
