Fresh from his early contender for KO of the year, hard hitting David Lemieux’s next fight has been confirmed.

The Canadian squares off against Marcos Reyes topping the undercard on the Canelo Alvarez v Julio Cesar Chavez Jr bill on Saturday 6th May.

BoxNation viewers witnessed Lemieux wipe out Curtis Stevens in sensational style earlier this month which propelled the former IBF World Champion back into Title contention.

“I think I was able to send a clear message on March 11th with my performance against Stevens and I intend to do the same on May 6th. I want to make sure that everyone understands that David Lemieux is making his way towards the top and that he intends to stay there,” revealed the Montreal Middleweight.

Lemieux has put together three wins on the spin after being stopped by Gennady Golovkin.

Reyes took Chavez Jr the 10 round distance back in July 2015 but just fell short on the scroecards and can boast 26 KO’s from his 35 victories.

The Mexican is counting on home support from what will undoubtedly be a partisan sold out crowd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas: "I know everyone is talking about the Lemieux knockout, but I'm ready to take him out. With my Mexican fans supporting me on Cinco de Mayo weekend, I'm ready to turn Lemieux's lights out!”

Fans can watch the show live on the Channel of Champions, Saturday 6th May!
