Hot prospect Jack Catterall has jumped two places up to seventh in the WBO’s World Super-Lightweight rankings.
Victory over previously unbeaten Jarkko Putkonen on October’s big World War 3 show was the Chorley native’s second defence of his WBO Intercontinental title
No rest for the wicked, Catterall is back out on December’s huge show at the Manchester Arena on Saturday 19 December.
The slick southpaw has gained valuable experience in the gym having sparred both Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez in recent months. If the gym chatter is true, young Jack held his own.
Catterall aims to end a flawless year with another top performance on December 19, the red-hot 22 year old aims for a big 2016 that could see a British title challenge and a further push up the World rankings.
