February’s fight between Tommy Langford and Lewis Taylor has added incentive now the vacant Commonwealth Middleweight Title is at stake.
With unbeaten Langford’s WBO Intercontinental strap also on the line, there’s further honours added with the Commonwealth crown now up for grabs following Billy Joe Saunders’ decision to vacate the title after recently winning the WBO Middleweight championship.
The fight takes place on the undercard of Terry Flanagan v Derry Mathews at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
Taylor, the current English Champion, will be looking to gate crash Langford’s World ranking and collect two new titles in the process.
For Langford, it’s a chance to start the New Year where he left off in 2015. A victory would cement his place in the WBO rankings and be a welcome addition to his expanding belt collection.
Tickets are on sale for February 13’s fight now starting from £44.
