Terence Crawford and Viktor Postol came face to face for the first time at yesterday’s press conference to confirm their July 23 Super-Lightweight World Title unification showdown.

The unbeaten World Champions share the same 28-0 record and collide at the famous MGM Grand Arena to determine the number one at the weight.

"July 23, this is going to be a great night of boxing! I'm going in there to destroy this man right here. This is a great opportunity to show the world I'm the best champion at 140," revealed the switch hitting sensation Crawford, who holds the WBO version of the World Title.

Cameron Dunkin, Crawford’s co-manager, stated: “I believe this is a great fight and Terence will prove he's not only the best 140-pound fighter in the world but that he is pound for pound the best fighter in the world."

Going out on PPV in the U.S, the fight marks promoter Bob Arum’s next step in turning the ESPN fighter of 2014 into a boxing superstar.

Standing in his way, The ‘Iceman’ who jumps straight into a unification fight in his first defence after shocking Lucas Matthyse late last year to pick up the vacant title.

"I have been waiting for this fight for a long time and I want to thank my promoters for making this fight a reality for the fans," explained Postol, the WBC World Title holder.

Legendary trainer Freddie Roach, who trains Postol, believes the fans are in for a cracker: "This has Fight of the Year written all over it!”
