WBA World Middleweight Champion Daniel Jacobs will be keeping one eye on the up and coming Andy Lee v Billy Joe Saunders fight.
After sensationally stopping Peter Quillin inside the first round on BoxNation screens, the door has been opened for future unification fights in 2016 for ‘The Miracle Man’.
Discussing December 19’s WBO World Middleweight Title fight, Jacobs is tipping Lee to retain his title.
“In my opinion, Lee will win that fight. He has more experience,” revealed Jacobs, who was speaking to FightHub.
With many fans, fighters and pundits struggling to pick a winner, Jacobs concedes it’s an evenly matched contest.
“Saunders might have to find a way to get inside though he has fast hands and he’s also talented. It’s going to be a great fight, I’m looking forward to it.”
When quizzed if the Kazakh KO King, Gennady Golovkin is on his radar – the 28 year old was open to a fight further down the line.
“I don’t duck and dive no one. He’s not someone I fear”
