Over the weekend young talents Zelfa Barrett and Mark Heffron recorded wins to continue their unbeaten streaks and reaffirm their status as two of the most exciting prospects in Britain.
Barrett moved to 18-0 after stopping Jordan Ellison in the first round in Manchester. The 24-year-old, nicknamed 'Brown Flash', will now be looking to challenge for domestic titles in the near future.
"I'm ready now," Barrett told BBTV after the fight. "An active fighter is a good fighter. We're ready to shine now!"
Heffron outpointed Hungarian Istvan Zeller at Oldham Leisure Centre to take his record to 17-0 (with 13 stoppages).
The 25-year-old Super-Middleweight is training under Ricky Hatton and is one to keep an eye on as he rises through the ranks.
