When polled, 75% of fans believe that Light-Heavyweight beast Anthony Yarde would defeat current British Champion Frank Buglioni.

After Yarde picked up the WBO European belt last Saturday, Buglioni tweeted that he believes the 12-0 man is "untested" and would be "the easiest mandatory [challenger] if made."

'Wise Guy' is certainly confident, stating: "I'd be embarrassed if I didn't flatten each of Yarde's opponents inside 1 round," before describing the Ilford boxer as 'muscle chin'.

"If he ain't my mandatory then he can have my final voluntary. Be the icing on the #outright cake," added Buglioni.

Clearly the fans disagree that Buglioni would make light work of the unbeaten puncher. Nearly 3,000 people responded to the poll, and three-quarters backed 'The Beast'.

On Thursday afternoon the British Boxing Board of Control ordered Callum Johnson as Buglioni's next mandatory defence. Meanwhile, Yarde could be in line for a final eliminator with Hosea Burton, who lost to Buglioni last December.

A potential showdown between Buglioni and Yarde will have to wait for now, but looks set to be an intriguing match-up in the future.
