Pound for pound superstar Guillermo Rigondeaux has issued a direct challenge to Super-Bantamweight rival Carl Frampton.

Fresh from watching Frampton’s split decision victory over Scott Quigg, the Cuban southpaw was quick to express his interest in fighting the now unified World Champion.

Frampton is now mandated to fight Rigondeaux for the WBA World Title though has other mandatory obligations from the IBF to fight Shingo Wake which may scupper the fight.

Whilst the action was underway on Saturday night, Rigo clearly wasn’t impressed with what he was seeing.

The unbeaten, widely acknowledged best in the division wants to keep active for the rest of the year ahead of his fight against Jazza Dickens on March 12.

Fans will be able to see Rigondeaux up close and personal, live at the Echo Arena in Liverpool topped by the huge WBO World Lightweight Title clash between Terry Flanagan and Derry Mathews.
