Trainer Angel Garcia stole the headlines at a press conference in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday at a press conference to announce the much anticipated Welterweight World Title showdown between his son, Danny and Keith Thurman would take place at the Barclays Center.

Garcia and WBA World Welterweight Champion Thurman had to be separated by security after the two traded verbals.

The self-proclaimed 'best trainer in the World' then had a run in with members of the press team trying to bring calm to the situation.

After repeating some unsavoury comments directed to Thurman, Garcia screamed: “He’s going to f*** you up!” before being quietened down allowing the fighters to take to the stand.

When order was restored Thurman was clearly in a confident mood.

“This is where it’s at! I get the most love out here in Brooklyn. We’re both undefeated Champions, two of the best Welterweight’s going, I’m truly looking forward to this fight. I’m blessed to get the fights I’ve asked for.”

Whilst Thurman feels at home in Brooklyn, Garcia is also no stranger to the 18,000 capacity venue where he will make his sixth outing at the arena on March 4th.

“You don’t want to miss this fight. There will be too much action, there’s too much on the line. I remember this kid from the amateurs and I’m sure they remember me too! I applaud him for everything he has achieved in his career, but this time he’s signed the wrong contract. Danny Garcia is getting knocked out!” continued ‘One Time’ Thurman.

With a combined 60-0 record with 41 knockouts, someone’s unbeaten streak will come to an end.

WBC World Champion Danny Garcia is backing himself to repeat what he achieved at Super-Lightweight, unifying the WBA and WBC World Titles now up at Welterweight.

“I feel active, I feel good. No injuries. Come March 4th, I’m going to be the unified Champion again. It’s nothing new to me. At the end of the day me and my Father, Crazy Angel will come up with a great came plan and my hand will be raised at the end of the night.”
