IBF World Super-Featherweight Champion Gervonta Davis took to social media as talks gathered pace for his mandatory Title defence against Liam Walsh.
The 22 year old sensationally dethroned Jose Pedraza back in January to win the World Title and throw himself into superstardom in the process.
Responding to a BoxNation Tweet, Davis posted:
Hey Mr. Warren well lets make it happen. See you soon. U.K I'm coming home! 😘 https://t.co/Ra9Wid6vFV— Gervonta Davis (@Gervontaa) February 22, 2017
Walsh has been waiting patiently after outclassing Andrey Klimov with a landslide points victory at the Harrow Leisure Centre back in October to install himself as the mandatory challenger.
Davis is one of the hottest prospects in World boxing racing to 17-0 with 16 of those wins coming inside the distance and fights under the Money Team banner spearheaded by Floyd Mayweather.
Promoter Frank Warren replied to the American from his own Twitter account:
Fans will be intrigued with developments as talks progress for this clash of the unbeaten stars.
