It’s been a busy few days for Gervonta Davis. Fresh from exchanging verbals with contender Tevin Farmer at the Lomachenko v Sosa fight, he was then involved in a war of words with four-weight World Champion Adrien Broner.

After taking to his Twitter and Instagram accounts, the reigning IBF World Super-Featherweight Champion called out Broner, demanding his promoter Floyd Mayweather makes the fight after the proposed bout with Farmer.

Before Davis can sink his teeth into these two potential all-American showdowns, the unbeaten southpaw must navigate his maiden World Title defence against mandatory challenger Liam Walsh.

The young star fights Walsh live on BoxNation from London’s Copperbox Arena on Saturday 20th May and now finds himself with a queue forming to fight.

In response to the 22-year-old, Broner himself responded with an expletive video: “Tank, you’re too little man! I will f**k you up. I looked at you like a little brother. I ain’t even mad at you, you’ve been influenced by Floyd.” The flashy American also posted an old image of the pair.

BoxNation viewers witnessed ‘The Problem’ edge past tough underdog Adrian Granados back in February, but the controversial Cincinnati star currently doesn’t have a fight date.

One thing is for sure, Davis has set himself up for a busy remainder of 2017, but the Baltimore bruiser cannot overlook Walsh.

Tickets for Davis v Walsh in London are out now.
