The newly crowned WBO World Super-Middleweight Champion Gilberto Ramirez makes the first defence of his title on the big Terence Crawford v Viktor Postol undercard live on BoxNation, Saturday 23 July.
"I am very excited to be making my first world title defence. I am working hard to make it a successful defence as I plan to be a world champion for a long time,” explained the unbeaten southpaw.
Ramirez fights Dominik Britsch, 32-2-1, who gets his first shot at World honours during a decade long pro career.
The challenger has previously held the IBF Youth Title down at 160 lbs.
"Dominik is a tough challenger, very strong. I don't know a lot about him personally but I will train hard as always. It feels great being on another PPV event. One day I want to be in the main event of a pay per view. That goal motivates me to do my best," stated the Mexican.
Britsch has two KO victories from two in his previous visits to the U.S and will be looking to make it a treble and take home the gold.
"I am very happy to be fighting the number one Super-Middleweight Gilberto Ramirez," said Britsch.
The 28 year old is a big underdog but has vowed to come and go for broke.
"My slogan is, 'Only those who dare to lose can win.' Gilberto, I am ready for you."
