Golovkin Looks for World Domination

Kazakhstani hitman Gennady Golovkin has his sights set on David Lemieux's IBF World Middleweight title when the two meet on October 17th. Golovkin already holds the IBO, WBA and interim WBC versions of the belt, making this a unification battle with the highest of stakes.

The middleweights are among some of the division's biggest hitters, Lemieux has a knockout ratio of 86%. Golovkin's 91% ratio is staggering, but the more terrifying statistic concerns the fact that he has managed to stop his last twenty opponents inside the distance.
