Future Hall of Famer Bernard Hopkins has predicted Andre Ward will stop Sullivan Barrera this Saturday night, live on BoxNation.

“I think he’ll win by a KO. Middle rounds,” revealed the 51 year old, former unified Middleweight World Champion who was speaking with FightHype.

The unbeaten pair clash at the Oracle Arena in Oakland with a potential fight against puncher Sergey Kovalev looming for the winner.

Hopkins, who shared a ring with the ‘Krusher’ back in November 2014, believes that Ward may swerve the potential blockbuster fight against the Russian KO artist should he come through Barrera.

“That’s the game plan but I don’t see that happening. I’m not biased because he’s not with us, I would love to see that as a fan – but from a business point of view, he’s been on a roll. Why would I throw Ward in with this situation without getting 2/3 more fights under his belt?”

The Light-Heavyweight division is once again being talked about on the larger scale, Sergey Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson will be keen spectators on Saturday night as Ward and Barrera put their unbeaten records on the line.
