Ovill McKenzie is counting down the seconds to his fight with fellow Cruiserweight banger Marco Huck.
The pair have given BoxNation viewers fireworks down the years but finally collide on Saturday 24th September in Frankfurt Germany.
Speaking with Knuckle-Up TV, ‘The Upsetter’ revealed: “It’s going to be a great fight, a big one over in Germany. I can’t wait!”
Huck bounced back after a KO defeat to Krzysztof Glowacki to send long-time foe Ola Afolabi into retirement after their fourth meeting.
“He’s a tough guy, a warrior. I’ve watched him but I’m not really one to study. At the end of the day he’s never fought me before,” explained the personable British Champion.
McKenzie is using his controversial draw in Argentina when he arguably outpointed Victor Ramírez on just a few days’ notice as ammunition.
“It is what it is, they were never going to give me it out in Argentina but come September I’m going to do it. We’ve had long notice for this, Huck is a true Champion he’s not given me two weeks. I’m good to go!”
Victory for either man will surely earn them a shot at a World Title in the coming months, it’s sure to be an explosive fight!
