Pound for pound superstar Terence Crawford has admitted his future lies up at Welterweight though he’s more than happy to continue plying his trade at 140 lbs for now.

“Right now I’m in this division and I make the weight comfortably but in the future I will be at Welterweight,” confirmed the two weight World Champion, who was speaking to Sway.

Bud’s Super-Lightweight unification bout with Viktor Postol is edging closer and the unbeaten switch hitting sensation is expecting his run to continue.

“He boxes well. He knows how to use his height, range and distance and I applaud him on that. But come fight night that’s not going to help him!”

One fight that was discussed but eventually got away was a potential mouth-watering dustup with stablemate Manny Pacquiao.

Crawford acknowledged talks were preliminary held: “Is he retired? I don’t know. Before he fought my name was mentioned. They left it up to Manny and he picked Bradley.”
