Liam Walsh is closing on a dream World Title shot.

The unbeaten Cromer ace is just one win away from securing a maiden shot at World honours.

Victory over Andrey Klimov this Saturday night live on BoxNation would bring Walsh’s dreams one step closer.

Speaking on our ‘Fighter by Trade’ special episode, Walsh revealed: “I’ve only got one real goal and that’s to be a World Champion. I’d be the happiest man alive!”

Injury halted the 20-0 southpaws shot at Ricky Burns’ WBO World Lightweight crown back in December 2012 following a road accident.

Seven fights down the line and now Walsh has the opportunity to secure his date with destiny.

Andrey Klimov, who has just two defeats on his record to Terence Crawford and current IBF World Champion Jose Pedraza, stands in the way.

“When I dare to dream I think ‘What would it be like to finally achieve a dream?’ I can’t imagine the feeling. It must be mental,” explained Walsh.

During a fascinating 30 minute documentary Liam, Brother Ryan and trainer Graham Everett discuss their amateur days, early career, playing football and a whole lot more.
