Fresh from his second victory over Jean Pascal on Saturday night, Sergey Kovalev used his post-fight in the ring interview to call out the reigning WBC and Ring Magazine Light-Heavyweight Champion Adonis Stevenson.

Speaking with HBO’s Max Kellerman, the ‘Krusher’ made his intentions clear: “I want to unify all 4 titles, I want to fight Adonis Chickenson!” before taunting the lineal Champion with a chicken like noise.

Stevenson then barged into the ring, shouting “I am the Champ, I am the World Champion!” before the pair were separated.

Kovalev, who holds three of the recognised World Titles at 175lbs refused to drop his strong words after beating Pascal once again: “He is not polite with anyone, he doesn’t respect fighters. I wanted to fight more rounds and punish him more!”

Andre Ward’s next fight is pencilled in for March but the unbeaten, 2004 Olympic Gold medallist is another potential fight for Kovalev later this calendar year.

“I’m very happy if this fight would happen,” revealed the Russian slayer.
