Legendary promoter Bob Arum has revealed his wish list for 2017, Manny Pacquiao v Vasyl Lomachenko.

Pacquiao fights Jessie Vargas this Saturday night live on BoxNation with some huge bouts on the horizon for 2017 should the Filipino legend come through unscathed.

Arum has hinted April 2017 could be Pacquiao’s next outing with two names firmly in the frame for a mouth-watering showdown.

“If we can clear time with the Senate and get a date that Manny can fight and he gets past Vargas, Crawford is a possibility,” revealed Arum to FightHub.

TopRank’s chief continued: “As is Lomachenko, that’s a fight I want to see more than any other fight that’s out there!”

The Ukrainian two weight World Champion would have to move up in weight once more if a potential fight comes to fruition.

“They’d fight between 135lbs and 140lbs. Weight won’t be any issue at all.”

Both Crawford and Lomachenko have dates locked in their schedule which could free Pacquiao up to return to political duties ahead of a blockbuster fight in April.

“I give Manny the options and he picks the opponent. Lomachenko has a real tough fight against Walters and Crawford is going to fight on December 10th but either of them are real possibilities.”
