After landing his third first round knockout on the spin, Jamie Cox is anticipating a shot at World honours in 2016.

Defending his WBO European Super-Middleweight Title on Saturday night, Ferenc Albert lasted just over a minute as Cox marched on to 20-0.

Speaking to James, one half of BoxNation’s weekly Cassius & Helder show, the slick southpaw insisted “I would beat Badou Jack tomorrow.”

Jack, who defended his WBC Super-Middleweight Title against George Groves in September, is rumoured to have requested a voluntary defence against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr for early next year.

“I’ve seen him in the gym, if we get him trust me, I’ll be too explosive for him.”

Discussing his next move, Cox is open to getting back out on the huge Manchester show next month.

“People are turning down fights left, right and centre. I would be interested in fighting on December 19 at the end of the day I’ll speak to Frank and see where we go from here.”
