After winning his first professional title last time out, Paddy Barnes is set to defend that WBO European belt on the Carl Frampton undercard.
Triple-Olympian Barnes will feature on the packed November 18th Belfast bill, where good friend Jamie Conlan challenges for the IBF World Super-Flyweight Title.
"It's great to be involved in such a huge event," the Flyweight said at Wednesday's press conference. "The way Carl fills out the Odyssey [SSE Arena] is a brilliant spectacle and I'm honoured to be able to fight on a double World title card that Carl's on too."
In his last bout, Barnes outworked former World Title challenger Silvio Olteanu to win a majority decision. Moving from six rounds to 10 rounds, Barnes admitted that he struggled in the latter stages.
"I still feel that I need to slow down and I'm working on that in the gym," revealed the 30-year-old.
"In my last fight, I didn't perform the way I can because I was more focused on doing the rounds. Now I know what it's about and I'm looking forward to showing my real skill."
Tickets for Carl Frampton's return in Belfast will be released on Wednesday 4th October.
