Unbeaten Super-Middleweight Jamie Cox makes the first defence of his WBO European Title this Saturday night against Ferenc Albert live on BoxNation.

Cox, who now headlines our show in Dublin, will be aiming to finish the year with a bang in his third outing of 2015 against Romanian born, Hungarian resident Albert.

An outstanding amateur, the slick Swindon southpaw picked up Gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games down under and an ABA Title the year before.

Recent back to back first round stoppages have shown an aggressive side to the 29 year olds game which has rightly put him in the frame for some mouth-watering bouts for next year.

If the gym stories are true, Cox has more than held his own with the big names in the 168 division in various sparring sessions.

Having moved into the WBO’s top ten World rankings, a World Title shot could come next year.
