Amir Khan believes he’ll have too much for Canelo and triumph on May 7 to lift the WBC World Middleweight Title.
When quizzed for a fight prediction by Kugan Cassius, Khan replied: “A win on points, unanimous decision. Straight to the point, no messing!”
Khan v Canelo has been billed as speed v power and comparisons have been drawn from Khan’s win over Marcos Maidana back in December 2010.
“Maidana was very big in that fight, very strong. It suits me when a guy like that comes at you, that’s why I think this style may suit me better. I knew that one punch could hurt me, so same with Canelo. I can’t make any mistakes, I’m on my A game,” revealed the 29 year old, who was speaking at a pre-fight media workout.
The challenger trusts his speed and movement to have a big say in the fight but has acknowledged the flame haired Mexican’s punching power.
