Amir Khan has revealed he has “no plans” to fight Kell Brook.
The World Title challenger’s brave effort against Canelo Alvarez has earned him credit from all corners of the boxing fraternity, with several big bouts touted including a possible rematch with Danny Garcia.
The IBF World Welterweight Champion Kell Brook is desperate to fight Khan, but the 29 year old has other avenues he wishes to pursue.
“He’s not in my plans at all, we’ve got other plans. He’s not one of the names,” revealed Khan, who was speaking with Sky Sports News.
“He talks so much I don’t want to give him the opportunity. My name is up in the lights in Vegas, look at my last few opponents then look at his last few… I think that says it there!” continued the Bolton native.
Despite the defeat, Khan’s stock has arguably risen. The former two time World Champion will now rest up ahead of making his next move.
“I’m going to take some time off, spend some time with my family and then speak with my advisor Al Haymon,” explained the proud Brit.
