Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev, last night crowned the WBO boxer of the year, has released a stunning video where he brands fellow Light-Heavyweight World Champion Adonis Stevenson #paperchamp.

The video, currently pinned to the top of the Russian KO machine’s Twitter feed, sees Kovalev line up a heavy bag with “Adonis Stevenson #PaperChamp” written on it before teeing off a right hand. “Adonis where you at?” then pops up in text on the screen as the 28-0-1 (25 KO) star has made it clear he thinks Stevenson is avoiding him.

Kovalev is next in live action defending his WBA Super, IBF and WBO World Light-Heavyweight titles in a rematch against Canada’s Jean Pascal on January 30th 2016 at the Bell Centre, Montreal. It’s the same scene where Krusher Kovalev scored a devastating and cruel eighth round TKO over a brave Pascal in March 2015.

But it’s fellow Canadian and WBC Champion Stevenson that Kovalev really wants, and he knows a win would unify all four major light-heavyweight titles, making the Russian 32-year-old undisputed light-heavyweight champion of the world.
