Fresh from making history to become boxing’s quickest two weight World Champion, Vasyl Lomachenko wants to rematch Orlando Salido.

Salido edged a split decision back in March 2014 to hand the Ukrainian his sole professional defeat in just his second fight.

The two time Olympic Gold medallist now wants the chance to overturn the one blemish on his record, stating during his post-fight interview: “Hey Salido! I’m ready to fight you anytime.”

Salido has failed to win in his last three, with two draws and a defeat and may be tempted to cash in for a return fight with Lomachenko.

“It was a great experience for me and it made me a better fighter. I really already forgot about this loss to Salido,” explained the decorated amateur.

BoxNation viewers witnessed Lomachenko produce a dazzling display to knock out Roman Martinez on Saturday night with a crisp left uppercut, right hook combination which wiped out the Puerto Rican and handed the amateur stand out the WBO World Super-Featherweight crown.

Talk from Team 'Hi Tech' is that Lomachenko wishes to make one defence at 135 lbs before potentially moving up to Lightweight and claim a World Title at three different weights.
