Lucas ‘Big Daddy’ Browne has been stripped of his WBA 'Regular' World Heavyweight Title after his ‘B’ sample drugs test also came back positive, following his original ‘A’ sample showed banned substance Clenbuterol was in his system as confirmed on the official WBA website.

BoxNation subscribers witnessed the unbeaten Aussie puncher sensationally climb off the floor to spark Ruslan Chagaev out cold back in early March to become Australia’s first ever World Heavyweight Champion.

Browne protested his innocence but the WBA has stated repeatedly that the boxer and his team are responsible for what enters his system, whether it’s by eating, drinking, or other means.

In addition, the 37 year old has been handed a six month ban from boxing.

Chagaev has now been ordered to rematch Fres Oquendo as part of the WBA’s tournament to firm up one Champion in the Heavyweight division.
