“Hammerin” Hank Lundy has promised an early stoppage when he challenges the 27-0 WBO World Super-Lightweight Champion Terence Crawford next Saturday on BoxNation.
The Pennsylvania 32-year-old spoke to Fighthype.com about his confidence before the first world title fight of his career against Crawford at New York’s Madison Square Garden, making it clear he had experience facing all styles of fighter.
“Man, listen. You talking to the king of switch hitting. Before everybody been on HBO, Showtime doing it, Hammerin Hank was on ESPN doing it. I’m the first guy. Come on man, this is what I do.
“He switch southpaw, that’s his ass. He come in left-right handed, this his ass. It just don’t matter with me. I’ve been in there with every style. At the end of the day, we’re ready for whatever, man,” Lundy said.
“Listen, I’m looking to stop him. Point blank. I’m making a statement. I’m gonna go in there and do what I do. I ain’t putting no pressure, but I’m looking for an early stoppage,” said Lundy.
