Unbeaten Super-Featherweight prospects Lyon Woodstock and Archie Sharp are ready to settle their rivalry after becoming embroiled in a Twitter beef.

Welling man Archie saw red after Woodstock bragged: "Throw us all in a tournament and let’s see who the last man standing is," when asked about his 9st 4lb domestic rivals that includes Sharp and Zelfa Barrett.

Sharp, who has won all 12 fights since turning professional, instantly lit the touch paper tweeting : "My team asked for this fight in London and Leeds but came back with the answer NO".

Woodstock, 24, replied immediately telling his Frank Warren stablemate: "Be careful what you wish for…"

Sharp is in action at London’s O2 Arena on June 23rd and is demanding that he is matched against Woodstock immediately after his appearance on the big BoxNation televised bill.

WBO European Super-Featherweight Champion Woodstock was also riled by Sharp’s claim that he ducked out of boxing him in Leeds last week.

He continued the war of words by tweeting: "Talk is cheap Mr @archiesharp95 just been told you guys have declined the fight but you was willing to fight me last weekend in Leeds? Hmm don’t think your team has to much faith in you I’d have words one love #YoungSimba #KingShitOnly".

He then continued to goad his 23-year-old rival posting a gif of wrestler Steve Austin looking at wrist with the words: "Waiting for the excuses like…"

Both men calling for the fight will be music to the ears of Warren who will not hold back from matching his boxers against each other.

If the potential barnburner comes off, Woodstock’s WBO European Title will not be the only prize, with the Leicester man’s number 15 world ranking with the respected governing body up for grabs.
