The rumour mill continues… Will he return?
After he walked away from the game at 49-0, the lure of a landmark 50th pro fight must be somewhat eating away at Floyd Mayweather now the dust has settled in the aftermath of an illustrious career.
When quizzed who would be in contention should he return to the ring, Floyd was quick to dismiss the feared Kazakh KO King Gennady Golovkin.
“I could barely make 147, so I wouldn’t fight at 160,” revealed Mayweather.
Speaking during one of his U.K tour dates last week, the self-proclaimed ‘TBE’ feels he would be able to dethrone the also unbeaten Golovkin.
“Triple G, not being disrespectful he’s straight up and down. No special effects, that’s easy work.”
