Super-Featherweight stable 'mates' Lyon Woodstock Jr and Mitchell Smith shared a heated exchange on Twitter on Saturday night.

It all kicked off when another Twitter user told Smith that he and Woodstock had "unfinished business" and asked "who is the real King?"

Smith, who last fought on the May 20th Copper Box card despite suffering a broken foot beforehand, responded to Woodstock's taunts about a previous sparring session.

"Pr*ck! You did nothing [you] little mug," he replied. "Won't say sh*t to my face! And I'm game to smash you when the BOY is ready," before encouraging Frank Warren to make the fight.

BoxNation fans were polled for their opinion about who would win should the rivals meet in the ring, and the final results were incredibly tight.

The war of words continued on Sunday, with Harrow's Smith stating: "Don't play innocent you think your the b*llocks. Soon as the foot is healed I'm ready! Nice bit of dosh and a pretty belt to take home to my young one I'm ready! Goodnight"

Woodstock, who recently lifted the Midlands Area Title in Leicester was dismissive, claiming "I don't do that fake building fight sh*t.

"I ain't gunna let you or no one get in the way of my journey to becoming one of the best," he replied.

It was announced last week by promoter Frank Warren that Lyon Woodstock would return on July 8th as part of the big show at the Copper Box Arena featuring Anthony Yarde, Daniel Dubois and Bradley Skeete v Dale Evans along with the much anticipated rematch between Jahmaine Smyle and Darryll Williams.
