Shane Mosley has played down a potential fight against Shawn Porter should both men come through their next fights.

‘Sugar’ Shane fights David Avanesyan this Saturday night with the winner mandated to fight the winner of June 25’s Shawn Porter v Keith Thurman contest.

Avanesyan’s WBA interim Title is on the line this Saturday live on BoxNation with Mosley eager to put in an impressive display.

The WBA’s president Gilberto Mendoza confirmed on his Twitter last week the winners from both bouts will be ordered to lock horns.

“I think that Shawn will win the fight. I’m not looking to fight him, he’s like my little brother. I can’t see myself fighting him unless they give us $10m a piece!” confirmed Mosley.

Speaking with ThaBoxingVoice at a pre-fight media day, the 44 year old continued: “I got millions of dollars already, I don’t need to fight him. He can fight Garcia, Thurman and those guys. There’s not too many fights I need to take. I’ve already solidified myself as a legendary fighter.”

With Porter seemingly off the table, Mosley revealed he would be more than happy to get it on with Keith Thurman should his hand be raised come June 25.

“If Thurman wins, I’ll fight him! He’s a great fighter but I’m not close to him. I have big fights out there Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather,” concluded the three weight World Champion.
