‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley believes his upcoming fight with David Avanesyan this Saturday night will finish early.
The 44 year old is backing himself to be the first man to stop the Russian: “I predict it goes four or five rounds then I’ll knock him out!”
Avanesyan defends his WBA interim World Welterweight Title for the first time with the winner mandated to lock horns with Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman, who fight in June.
“Training camp was tremendous but hard though! I sparred with Sergio Mora and a lot of tough guys over in Panama,” explained Mosley who was speaking with RealCombatMedia.
The former three weight World Champion enters the ring for his 61st fight of a career that spans three decades.
“I expect him to be in great shape and try defend his title, I think he’s gonna box it but you’ll see a lot of hand speed, movement, power and just being smart from my side,” analysed the future Hall of Famer.
